You can assign a podcast to be used as an online record of steps, procedures, or progress of a classroom assignment. This will allow you to stay abreast of their progress without using classroom time to check it. It will also allow other students to guage their progress and let them know how others are doing. This moves the project outside the classroom and can give the students real ownership of their projects.
